Crystal 8 Full-Range DIY Sealed Box

There’s something I’ve always loved – listening to the gentle rain on a quiet day. These past days, Quanzhou has been wrapped in rain. Outside my window, droplets tap softly; inside, music flows through speakers built by my own hands. For a DIY audiophile, this is the ultimate romance – pairing your favorite tunes with a creation that’s truly yours.

At the heart of these speakers is the Xizi Speaker Flower Crystal 8 full-range driver. From design to execution, every step was my own. I chose a sealed enclosure for its tight, controlled bass and fast transient response. Using a precision CNC router, every contour and curve was cut, polished, and fitted to perfection. The air-tight cabinet preserves the Crystal 8’s natural warmth and transparency – the midrange and treble become silky smooth, the bass stays clean and punchy, with no unwanted resonance. Vocals and instrumental details are gently magnified.

For me, DIY speakers are first and foremost about looks. Clean lines, refined surface finishes – they’re not just acoustic tools, but aesthetic pieces that elevate a room. When precision CNC craftsmanship meets the pure sound of the Crystal 8, beauty and fidelity truly come together.
